Autumn aistear in juniors

24/10/2018

At the role play station we were busy on the farm getting ready for winter - harvesting crops, putting the animals in the shed, building sheds.
Art and Craft station - we painted Autumn trees, collaged hedgehogs and squirrels with crepe paper, and made scraecrows.
Playdough station - give the hedgehog spines, nuts for the squirrel, autumn leaves, etc.
We practiced our tracing, colouring, cutting and sticking at the Literacy station.
We also went on an Autumn walk around the school grounds. We saw an Oak tree, a Horse Chestnut tree and a beech tree. We collected some leaves in Autumn colours and had great fun making an Art activity of us blowing leaves.
