Paul Conroy Visit

Chuireamar fáilte mhór roimh Paul Conroy, a Ballina native and past pupil of Ballina Primary School last week. He kindly visited Rang 5 agus Rang 6 over two days with his collection of memorabilia from World War 1 and 2. We were delighted to handle artefacts and to hear the stories behind uniforms, weapons, photographs and medals among many other treasures. We are so grateful to Paul for providing this wonderful opportunity for us to learn of the impact of war from the Irish, British, American, Japanese and German perspectives.
