Primary Schools Cross Country Championships 2017On Tuesday 3rd October 2017, boys and girls from 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th classes travelled to Thurles to take part in the Primary Schools Cross Country Championships 2017. The team of boys from 3rd and 4th class won 1st place, the boys from 5th and 6th class won 2nd place, and the girls from 3rd and 4th class won 3rd place in their respective categories. All pupils should be very proud of their achievements. Well done to all who took part.
Well done to the girls from Rang 1 - Rang 6 who competed in a school camogie blitz on Monday 29th May 2017. Almost 90 girls took part in a great afternoon of camogie. Thank you to Muinteoir Claire, Muinteoir Ciara and to Proimhoide Bernice.💐 A big thank you also to the coaches Carmel, Anne, Margaret, Sarah, Helen, and Rachel, who have have coached the girls every Monday after school. We would also like to thank our TY girls and our two referees, Lucy and Leanne. Well done everyone, your help and hard work is very much appreciated by the school and club. We hope all the girls will continue to keep training in the school. Well done to everyone, what a great way to finish camogie for the year. FAI Soccer BlitzOn Friday 24th March 2017, a team of girls took part in the FAI Soccer Blitz in Two-Mile-Borris FC. A great time was had by all. Well done to all involved.
TaG RUGBY BLITZCongratulations to the 6th class pupils who participated in the ALDI-sponsored Tag Rugby Blitz in Garryowen on Wednesday 22nd March 2017. A great day was had by all. Spikeball TournamentOn Monday 27th February 2017, 14 pupils from 6th class took part in a Spikeball tournament in Villiers, Limerick. Everyone enjoyed the day and did themselves proud.
