September in Rang 3 - Stone Age Tombs

Rang 3 made Stone Age tombs as part of History - Pupils made Wedge tombs or Portal tombs (like the famous one at Poulnabrone in Co.Clare). Some pupils covered their stone structures with soil to make their tomb more accurate - this is how these tombs would have looked in the Stone Age (others would have been covered with stones known as a 'cairn')
