Special Educiation needs
S.E.N. (Special Educational Needs) is provided by a dedicated and experienced team of Special Education Teachers (SETs).
SETs work with individual children or with small groups of children providing support. SETs also work in-class as team teachers. Educational support is only one aspect of SEN provision in the school, the social and emotional well-being of the pupils is also central to creating a positive learning environment in which all are included. Social groups are held for children from junior and senior classes and chess is also taught in the school. For those children who have been granted a laptop we provide time for them to become confident in navigating its use. We also offer a dyslexia pack which parents can avail of to help inform them regarding the complexities of dyslexia.
