We practiced our planting skills this month, as we were learning all about the season of spring. We learned about all the different things we might need when planting, like spades, watering cans, seeds and bulbs. It was messy, but lots of fun!
January was a busy month in our ASD classes.
Mtr. Mark's class were learning all about the theme of water. We explored things around our classroom to see whether they would float or sink. We also tried different containers to see if we could make them full and empty.
We learned about mixing, and we made lots of mixtures using water and things from around the house, like milk, paint and washing up liquid. This was great fun!
We had a fantastic day on Thursday when Santa came to visit us in BPS! It was great to chat to him and he even gave us some presents to share in our class.
Thanks for coming by Santa!
We have had a busy term in Mtr. Mark's Class, learning lots and settling back into school life after the summer break. Working on our building skills, sorting skills and cutting skills has been very important. For September, we learned all about School, and in October Halloween was our focus topic. Take a look to see some of the fun activities we have been up to.
We love music, and have been learning lots of new songs and trying out different musical instruments.
We have been working on our numbers and love learning about numbers through songs and activities. These are some of the activities we have been working on.
November - Houses and Homes
For November, our focus was on Houses and Homes. We looked at different types of houses, materials for building houses and things you might find in each room of the house.
