October was a very busy month in Muinteoir Ciara's Juniors, we did Gymnastics with Rody, went on an Autumn Walk, explored tall and short in Maths, had lots of fun during play time, and of course dressed up for Halloween! Junior Infants were very busy getting ready for Halloween. We made witches, ghosts and pumpkins. We created our own potions, tasted some Halloween treats, dressed up, played some Halloween games and even disco danced to Spooky Halloween songs. Happy Halloween everyone. We celebrated Jersey Day as a fundraiser for Goal. The children enjoyed wearing their Jerseys to school. Even Fred joined in on the fun. Autumn was a busy time in Junior Infants. We learned all about the Hedgehog, leaves and trees. We looked for signs of Autumn outside and collected lots of leaves. We had great fun in Juniors getting involved with Space Week activities. They enjoyed designing, creating and displaying their spaceships. 5,4,3,2,1 blast off! Well done to all the Juniors in Múinteoir Ciara's class who have settled so well into big school and have been busy making new friends, while also doing lots of fun activities. We were very lucky in Junior Infants to get our hands on the Munster and All Ireland cups won by the Tipperary Minor camogie team this year. September has gotten off to a great start in Juniors 2. We are busy getting to know one another, working on our fine motor skills, language development, moving and playing and most of all having lots of fun. Muinteoir Ciara's Junior Infants are setting very well into school and loved their first day! |
