The rain doesn't stop us from being active! We could not go outside for break today so instead we had a dance indoors. Ballina Primary School are in the process of applying for the 'Active Flag'. We hope this will encourage each child to become more active and participate in some activity both inside and outside school each day. Your child has received a Super Troopers Health Homework Journal, which includes short 10-15 minute activities to do each night as part of their homework. We would encourage all families to try out these fun activities, which will not only go towards helping us to achieve our Active Flag, but will also benefit your child's health. For more information visit the super troopers and active flag websites by clicking the links below.
Juniors went for a 'spooky walk' around the school in our costumes, we hope we didn't frighten anyone too much!!
As a whole school we are trying to get more active so on the first Wednesday of every month each class will do 'A Mile with a Smile'. Have a look at our photos from October mile with a smile.
