Exploring Sounds:

Our theme for November was all about exploring sounds. As part of our music and SESE, we decided to explore the different sounds we could make using food and our trays. We then made our own shakers and explored the different sounds they made!

We went on a tour of our school to see what sounds we could hear all around us too - people were talking, music was playing, phones were ringing!

Life Skills:

As part of our SPHE and Life Skills work, we have been learning about recipes and how to follow them. We planned out what we would need then walked to the shop to buy our ingredients. After we had all our ingredients, we made some tasty hot chocolate and even put some marshmallows on top. It was a yummy treat after a stormy week!
