Global Goals Week

During Global Goals Week as we are learning about different Sustainable Development Goals.

This year we are focusing on
Global Goal 12-Responsible Consumption and Production.
We have been researching where different fruit and vegetables that we buy in the supermarket come from and how many food miles they travel.
We are looking at could some of these food be grown in Ireland and where could we source them? 
The children in 4th class planted their own fruit and veg plant and seeds and they are going to transfer them to the school garden when the weather gets warmer.
