February in seniors

February was a great month in Seniors. We learned all about Spring in our area and what to keep an eye out for. We learned just how busy February can be, with St. Brigid's Day, Valentine's Day and Pancake Tuesday all happening very close together. We also welcomed  Muinteoir Marie to our class for some lovely new activities and lessons. 

We weighed lots of items from the classroom and home to explore which we heavy and which were light.

We carried out some experiments to see how the different parts of the plant work - especially the stem.
